You Are Invited to join residents and staff on a day trip to see the musical Hamilton on stage in St Louis!

What? Hamilton An American Musical is a sung-and-rapped-through musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda. It tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton. Miranda said he was inspired to write the musical after reading the 2004 biography “Alexander Hamilton” by Ron Chernow.

Where? The Fabulous Fox Theatre, 527 N Grand Blvd., St. Louis, MO

When? Thursday, May 12, 2022 – 1:00 p.m. showtime. Depart ClarkLindsey 8:30am

Cost: $170 per person with payment due at date of sign up. Please make check payable to ClarkLindsey with “Hamilton” on memo line.  Drop off your check to ClarkLindsey’s front desk by April 22nd in an envelope addressed to Karen Blatzer, Director of Marketing.

Payment is non-refundable. Cost includes your show ticket, transportation, and lunch.

Meals:

• Gourmet boxed lunch (sandwich, fruit salad, pasta salad, cookie) from Art Mart will be eaten on the bus around lunchtime. You will have a choice of sandwich from a menu.
• You may bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
• We will stop for dinner on the way back at Yoder’s Kitchen in Arthur, IL. Dinner cost is not included in your $170 and will need to be paid individually at the restaurant.

Accessibility: We will be using Peoria Charter and the bus they are providing does not allow for wheelchairs.

Tentative/Estimated Itinerary

Arrive in ClarkLindsey’s front lobby By 8:15 a.m. Bring a copy of your vaccination card (photo is acceptable) and a mask.

8:30 a.m.: Depart ClarkLindsey

11:00ish a.m.: Lunch on the bus

12:30 p.m.: Arrive at theatre for check in

1:00 p.m.: Hamilton begins

4:00 p.m. Hamilton ends

6:30 p.m. Stop for dinner at Yoder’s Kitchen in Arthur, IL

8:30 p.m.: Arrive back at ClarkLindsey
